Pretty and Polished - Bubble Tea!

So as you all know, I have been working on a new collection called "Sweet Treats". This collection is all about the cutsie treats we love. I already introduced you to "Candy Coated" and today I am showing you "Bubble Tea". For those of you not familiar with Bubble Tea I will try to explain. Bubble Tea is a tea based drink that is usually mixed with milk and has "Tapioca Pearls" in it. These Tapioca Pearls usually hang at the bottom of the glass and are actually black in color. Bubble Tea usually comes in soft shades of pastel colors, the most common being a light pastel green. This is what this nail polish represents.

"Bubble Tea", the nail polis, is a soft light pastel green with tiny white glitter in it and medium sized black glitter. These pictures were taken with two layers of this nail polish and no top coat.

Ulta Fairytale Fashionista Swatches

A lot of people seemed to want to see what these little mini polishes from Ulta looked like on my last haul post. So I have two pictures of each polish on my nails. The formula on these was ok. Nothing special. The first layer was pretty sheer and I have to do 3 coats on each to get the desired coverage. The dry time was good. These remind me of the Color Club Foiled polishes.

Glass Slipper is a light blue.

Magic Forest is a light green.

Belle of the Ball is a light pink.

Back by Midnight is what I like to call "Champagne Bronze".

If you have Color Club's Foiled Collection I don't think these are must haves. BUT they would make an excellent gift and they are only $7-$8 for a pack of four!

Sunday Serving!

I have been soooo busy! But I wanted to at least give you all a Sunday Serving! My hauls for the last week!

Here we have a little ULTA haul. I picked up this new Ulta collection called Fairytale Fashionista with four colors. From left to right: Glass Slipper, Belle of the ball, Magic Forest, and Back by Midnight. I also snatched up this GORGEOUS Butter London polish in Slapper. It was so amazingly bright and beautiful that I just HAD to have it.

Three polishes from the Wet n Wild Spoiled line. Shuffle the Deck, 2 Weeks Sober, and Ants in my Pants.

I found all these China Glaze Polishes while dusty hunting. I have Sour Apple, Groovy Green, Sexagon, And How About A Tumble. Usually I sell the kaleidoscopes but I have made a dent in my bottles of Sexagon and Tumble so I thought I better grab myself a couple more.

Two more polishes I found while dusty hunting. Kleancolor Leaves Jingle and OPI DS Sapphire.

This is the new collection by  Mattese Elite. The Collection is called Carnaval and I won these beauties through Ricky's NYC, a NYC based cosmetics store and through Lacquered Lover's Blog! I am so excited to have received these and I look forward to swatching them all for you!

I am posting this picture because in the picture above it seems like the two pink polishes on the end are pretty much the same. In this picture you can see that one is actually purple.

I did a swap with a lovely woman from Europe and she sent me these three GOSH polishes in Gasoline, Ocean, and Purple Heart. She also sent me 2 mini Depend polishes.

I found these two things today at a Dollar Store. I picked up Purple Chrome and Pink Chrome!

So that is my week's worth of polish hauls. Which ones would you like to see first?!

OPI Pink Friday + P&P Candy Coated

The polish you are about to see that I have layered over OPI's Nicki Minaj is a brand new polish from Pretty and Polished. This is "Candy Coated" and it is a part of my soon to debut Sweet Treats Collection. I really hope you guys like this.

Candy Coated is a sheer pastel pink polish with a mix of light pink prism medium hex glitter, purple prism medium hex glitter, small purple glitter and eve smaller purple prism glitter. It definitely looks like a sweet candy coating!

I made it onto a ManGlaze Ad!

I love ManGlaze. End of story.

Yup, that's me. With my husband's finger up my nose and they even shopped their polish onto his nails hahaha.

Polishes are back in stock on Etsy!

Just thought I would let you all know that the Holo polishes I sell on Etsy are back in stock. Midnight Rider is still gone BUT I am working really hard on getting it back up on the site. Please be patient with me while I work on this. Thank you!

Dyan's Sacred Heart

Recently a friend of mine, who is also friends with many other bloggers, had a very serious family emergency. Her daughter, Dyan had a medical emergency and is still recovering. We have tried to show both of them that we love and support them. This week a bunch of us decided to do Mani's for Dyan. We thought it would be nice for her mom to add some pictures of our special Manicures to the cards we sent her.

Dyan's favorite color is blue and she likes tattoos. So naturally this is the first thing I thought of!
So Dyan, Brenda, this is for you.
You guys know I am not very good at nail art so no poking fun at me ok?!

The base color is Sally Hansen Blue Me Away. The red heart was done with Orly Monroe Red. And the fire was done with China Glaze Breakin' and China Glaze Solar Power.

OMG My fingers looked so dry in these pictures. I actually made this post about a week ago but my group changed the "Dyan week" to this week. I am going to try to do more nail art. Wish me luck!

Blogger Promotion

A lot of you have noticed the new tab on my page for blogger promotions. I have gotten a TON of responses for this. I am trying to get back to everyone as fast as I can. I will try to message most of you back tonight or tomorrow so please sit tight!
Because of the overwhelming response to this new promotion idea I will only be offering ONE of the two options until I can get through the bloggers who signed on for the other option. I will explain all of this to you when I get in contact with you over the next couple of days. Thank you all so much for the growing support!

China Glaze Kinetic Candy and Nostalgic Lacquer Duckie

Both of these polishes were in my "Sunday Serving" post today. They are both gorgeous polishes and I am very glad I now own them. Kinetic Candy is a beautiful blue creme that has a slight gray tone to it. It is part of China Glazes new collection Electropop! Duckie on the other hand is a very sheer pastel blue/green polish with green and blue glitter in it. Here is the description from Nostalgic Lacquers Etsy page; "Duckie is a combination of chartreuse, holographic teal, and pastel green glitters in varying sizes floating in a semi-sheer pastel teal base. It has a subtle and feminine look on it's own and can easily be layered over your favorite minty hued polishes for those who prefer a more opaque look". I think these two look exceptional together.
As you know, I sell on Etsy. One of the first things I did when I started my shop was to look at other peoples polishes. This particular polish was the first one on my wish list. Unfortunately for us she has been selling out of these polishes like crazy! That is totally fortunate for her though, I wish her the best and I see that she is doing very well! Keep up the good work!

I love these so much that I don't want to take them off!!!

Sunday Serving!

Well hello there! I have a nice little haul post for you today. This is my weeks worth of hauls!

These are two new Wet n Wild Polishes. Thank goodness WnW is now selling these in larger bottles! The blue is "I need a refresh-mint" and the taupe looking one is "wet cement".
Tip: to my knowledge these will be on sale starting the 29th of January, Buy 2 get one free at Walgreens!

Hard Candy Envy (bought at Walmart).

These are four China Glaze polishes from the new Electropop Collection. I have Kinetic Candy, Gaga for Green, Aquadelic, and Gothic Lolita. These are gorgeous! I ordered them from Trans Design.

This is my newest Barielle Polish. I also ordered this from Trans Design. The color is Date Night. A dark Metallic Green!

Here you see my very first Glitter Gal polish in 10 to Midnight. It is pretty small for the price but it is pretty. I bought this from Llarowe during the little sale Leah Ann did. More exciting though IMO is this gorgeous polish by Nostalgic Lacquers on Etsy. Duckie is amazingly gorgeous. I will be doing a NOTD post about it tonight!

A CND polish in Jade Sparkle (also from Trans Design).

This is an interesting tool I got from Trans Design. It is a little bottle holder. It will grip your polishes so you don't have to hold them while dipping your brush and it will hold your bottles at different angles so you can get more polish out of a bottle that isn't full.

Found this on clearance at Walgreens! I LOVE the Lemon Butter cuticle Cream and this came with a full sized tub of it! Totally worth the $7.50

And last but not least, today's ULTA haul. I got all of this on clearance (except the nail remover pads). Zoya Gemma, 3 bottles of the Ulta exclusive China Glaze Ultamate Holiday, and China Glaze Papaya Punch.  The remover pads are awesome! They smell sweet like vanilla cupcakes and they moisturize your cuticles. They are $2 each.

Pretty and Polished - Cyber Kick

I gave you guys a little sneak peak last night of this new polish. Now here are some more pictures to indulge in! This polish came out looking beautiful!

And yes, I broke a couple of nails. I blame the snow storm.

I wanted to see how it looked with a matte top coat.

Smooth as a babies bottom lol

It is available at my Etsy shop now. Here is a picture to give you an idea of the different sizes. Full size and mini.
